Ever needed a book that covers almost every single topic needed to live life? That is exactly what I intend to do here. This book will be continually updated. By who? You ask. Tablet Power Button Fix
(Universal to all devices that have push buttons.)
Problem Overview:
The button seems to push a little but it is a little too far in and it doesn't feel right. Sometimes if it is pushed super hard it will turn it on but this is extremely rare.
Steps to figure it out:
It could be the power button assembly.
It could be the power button is loose and not reaching the button
Steps to Fix:
First get a guitar pick or carefully peel the cover off with your fingernails.
Next take out the plug connecting the battery to the rest of the tablet
Now test the button and see if it still pushes in.
Get a small piece of thick tape like the double stick.
With this try to make the gap separating the button to the assembly shorter.
his should fix it an make it good as new.
Now it feels like factory grade device.
If there is still a problem then test the assembly of the button and see if it needs to be replaced.
